Terms of Use

Hero To Hire is a marketplace that helps customers find verified veterans and first responders for home and other local services. By using herotohire.com, you agree to these terms.

Customers

Quote requests are requests for information, not a contract with Hero To Hire. You choose which Hero to hire. We do not perform the work and are not a party to the job agreement between you and a Hero.

Heroes

You must provide accurate information about your identity, branch of service, and the work you offer. Paid membership lets you see full quote details and respond. Featured placement only moves you higher in searches you already match. It does not put you in searches you would not otherwise appear in.

Verification may be manual at launch. We can approve, reject, or remove a profile if information appears false or unsafe.

Payments

Hero membership and Featured upgrades are billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew until canceled. You can cancel from your Stripe customer portal or by contacting billing@herotohire.com. Fees already paid are not refunded except where required by law.

Acceptable use

Do not post fake credentials, offensive content, or work photos that you do not have the right to use. We may remove content or accounts that violate these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Connecticut.
